Iacocca International Internship Program

Internship program in corporation with Lehigh University.


This internship is fully funded for students from Lehigh University (USA), and the program prioritizes students who have high financial need or have never been abroad, helping make international experiences accessible to all students. The program has grown rapidly—to date, 486 students have worked in 46 countries. So far, 64 students have received assistance from American Councils to study in 10 counties across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In 2019, 83 students lived and interned in 32 countries, where they developed intercultural and professional competencies to enhance their career readiness. In 2019, the first Lehigh University student performed her internship in Tartu, Estonia.
